We are looking for an entry level Environmental Graphic Designer to support its Branding and Graphic Design Services in our Dallas office. Our Environmental Brand designers engage with a wide variety of clients on projects of all sizes from integrated interior elements to applied graphics all within an interior environment. We help our clients tell their unique stories effectively using space as a medium for message. Our approach combines design and architectural expertise with a unique point of view and strong communication skills. The role of an Environmental Graphic Designer would be to support the project teams, providing graphic design and production for unique environmental experiences. Candidates should be passionate about helping clients enhance their brand and business performance through design, and be adept at developing creative design concepts and seeing the artwork through to production.

• Create, design, and implement environmental graphic design, signage and wayfinding packages primarily for interior base projects
• Work with clients to develop specific graphic and user-oriented strategies for visual communication within a built environment, including corporate identity systems and environmental graphics programs working within the parameters of a clients’ existing brand standards.
• Collaborate with interior design teams to develop, design, and implement environmental graphics within a project, and integrate those designs into architectural drawing sets.
• Develop separate environmental graphic design intent packages that include specifications, materials, and locations for designed elements.
• Interface and collaborate with multiple internal design practices, including workplace, education, aviation, and healthcare.

• Bachelor degree in graphic design, architecture, interior design/architecture, industrial design, product design or similar
• Entry level position
• Strong background in graphics, signage, brand strategy and designing user-experience based environments
• Proficiencies in Adobe suite, specifically Illustrator.
• Skills including production management and technical drawings are desired
• Strategic thinking and ability to create concept designs using strong rational and conceptual thinking
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to read architectural plans, sections, elevations and details and coordinate with architectural teams on projects is desired but not mandatory
